How do I prepare my files?

File Specifications

Preferred Layout Applications:

Adobe Illustrator CS3 or earlier

Adobe Photoshop

*Tip- Use Illustrator to layout your file. Import your supporting graphics into your layout document & save this as your "Final Layout".

File Types:

Adobe Illustrator CS3:  filename.ai    filename.pdf  filename.eps  are all acceptable

ALWAYS OUTLINE YOUR FONTS.

Adobe Photoshop: build w/ bleed as a  filename.tif or filename.psd

Imported images should be saved to a CMYK TIFF or PSD format

Preferred Image Editing Application:

Adobe Photoshop -used for image editing the imported images & graphics

Resolution Requirements:

Large-Format - Imported images should be saved & imported @ 100-150 dpi built to full size

Grand-Format applications require a minimum of 72 dpi @ full size

Bleed:

Files need to have a minimum of 1/4 inch bleed at final size in order to avoid any finishing problems.

Fonts:

OUTLINE ALL FONTS... This will ensure that there won't be any font conflicts with your file. If it is not possible to outline all fonts, printer & screen fonts must be supplied with the file.
